Happy New Year!

2008 flew by!! I'm so excited for 2009! I hope everyone has a great night!

I am so BORED and annoyed.

Oh my gosh i am so bored out of my mind. I don't even know why because i have plenty i could be doing but i'm just too lazy to do it! Carter is driving me completely insane and i feel terrible but he is really getting on my nerves! ALL the kid wants to do is watch Thomas the train!! I can't remember when i watched anything other than that! I just wanted to get on the computer for a little bit while he was playing with his train set and 2 seconds after i left the room he came running in to where i'm at and started climbing up on me wanting me to turn Thomas on the computer! He repeats it over and over and over every 2 seconds. He is constantly climbing on me and jumping on me even though i tell him repeatedly not to and he knows he is being bad but he just does it on purpose because he knows it annoys me. He hits my stomach sometimes too. He knows there is a baby in there and will kiss and hug my belly, too but when he gets bored or if heaven forbid i have to do something like clean the kitchen or pick up the living room and he doesn't get all of my attention he just gets mad. I know it's because he is bored too but i just have no energy whatsoever to do much with him considering i'm a little over 33 weeks pregnant. I have so much to do around the house but again, i have no energy to do it! I would just like to be able to relax for once! This pregnancy has flown by until now, and now i feel like it's just at a stand still. I just want it to be OVER! Of course, i want the baby to bake a little longer and be ready but i just wish i could skip to 37 weeks so i will be full term! If anyone wants a mental picture of me right now, you can just envision me banging my head against the wall......

Getting Ready for Baby!

I'm finally getting everything in gear for this new little one. I've been doing some major shopping with my Christmas gift cards and money! I ordered this glider and ottoman set. Which ended up only being $103. With tax and shipping it was only $143! Most of the gliders i've seen are at least $200 so i feel like i got a good deal. Then i ordered this car seat. I didn't spend very much on the infant car seat because he really won't be in it very long. I plan on putting him in a convertible car seat when he's around 2 months old. I just mainly want the infant seat to carry him in and out during the cold weather. Otherwise he'll be in a sling everywhere we go. Speaking of slings, i ordered this one off ebay. I couldn't resist the free shipping, plus the one i have from Carter i think i payed almost $40 for! My parents got us this crib for Christmas but they're going to be keeping it at their house since we're moving soon after the baby is born so we're not going to be setting it up here. I also got myself this breast pump for Christmas. I only plan on pumping for the occasional daddy feeding or night out so i figure the single electric would work fine. I also got this nursing bra. Now basically all i need is a few more warm weather outfits, socks, another nursing bra and i need to stock up on nursing pads and Lanisoh cream. Oh, and some new track suits for after baby is born. It feels like it's all starting to come quickly!

Which do you like best?

I am constantly changing my hair, if you haven't noticed by now. ;) It seems like i'm always dying it, highlighting it, cutting it, then growing it out, i never have had like a signature style. So i'm going to post some pictures and see if you all can help me decide which looks the best on me. I just get bored easily with myself and my hair's easiest to change. I just want to know what way i look best.

32 Week Appointment

I had my 32 week appointment this morning. Everything went great, we were in and out in 20 minutes! I am up to 131, which brings my weight gain total to 16 lbs. I was really wanting to keep my total gain around 20 lbs, so i guess i'll have to be sure i don't over do it with the Holiday feasts and treats! My blood pressure was 110/50. Baby is head down again, hopefully he stays that way the rest of the time! She didn't tell me his heart rate, but said it sounded great! I go back in 2 weeks on January 6th! I can't believe it's getting so close, i'm starting to get a little uncomfortable, especially at night. I can literally feel my stomach stretching out every night and it hurts. Everything is starting to get so much harder, like trips to the grocery store, wal-mart, etc. I haven't been working much because i'm on my feet the entire time and it's getting too hard for me! I feel like i'm getting into hibernate mode, i just want to sit inside and eat and watch tv all day! Oh, and get everything ready for baby, but i can't, because we're going to be moving in a few months so i will have to wait! I do have all the clothes and blankets washed and ready, and about 2 months worth of diapers.

Christmas #1

We had Christmas with my parents and sisters Saturday night. We made it there just in time i guess because about half an hour after we got there it started to get really cold, windy, and nasty out. My sister and her boyfriend were out in the country at his mom's house and got stuck trying to come home. They missed dinner-we didn't wait because Carter was STARVING and so was the 8 months preggo. So we ate and then waited a little longer for them to get there and then the power went out! So my dad had to go turn on the generator so we could have some light. Carter was getting really restless and wanted to open his presents so we just let him go ahead while we waited. They finally got there at about 8:30 or so. Then the rest of us opened presents. Later on we just hung out and watched Carter's new Thomas DVD and then he went to sleep. Then my mom, me, my sister Jolene and her boyfriend all played Pictionary. My dad was asleep with Carter and Brad fell asleep on the couch..lol. My other sister HAD to go out with her friends, so she missed out. My mom made us a great breakfast the next morning and i got to sleep in an extra half hour or so! Overall it was great! Here are a few pictures. I didn't get many though, dang it!

My Lips Hurt!!

Brad stole my chapstick this morning and my lips are so chapped right now! It's way too cold and i'm way too lazy to have to get Carter all bundled up just to run into the gas station for some chapstick. Ugh...i might just have to brave it soon though because they hurt! Brad doesn't get home for another 3 hours.

Today i am 32 weeks pregnant! I was just messing around trying on some random clothes since it's like 150 below outside so we have been stuck inside all day and I decided to take some pictures.

Planning ahead..

LOL I'm already planning what i'm going to buy with one of my gift cards i get for Christmas. I always get a gift card to Target from Brad's mom's side(we draw names) and i plan on getting this with it this year. I HATE hospital gowns and want to feel pretty afterwards! The rest of them i plan on using after i have the baby because it seems like after you have a baby you just don't have anything to wear!!! I'm thinking about getting some of these jeans once i lose most the baby weight. I really like this shirt. This one, too. You can never have too many zip-up hoodies, IMO. Ooooh i can't wait to be able to shop for regular clothes again!!

I have nothing interesting to say...

I haven't posted in a few days and it's just because i don't really feel like i have anything interesting to say or any cute new pictures to share. I'm going to finish my Christmas shopping tomorrow and i'm praying that-that really bad ice storm that was supposed to start at 6pm tonight but didn't-doesn't start tomorrow! I HAVE to finish shopping at least for my side because we're having Christmas at my parent's house on Saturday and i have to work tomorrow night and Saturday afternoon..ugh. Plus, i hate not having as much money as i'd like to spend on everyone, which depresses me!

30 week appointment

Just got back from my 30 week appointment. I am up to 128 lbs now...started at 115 so that means i've gained a whopping 13 lbs!!! :0 3 weeks ago i was up 8 lbs so i gained 5 lbs in 3 weeks. Guess i need to start watching it. Baby's heartbeat was 147 and dr. said she could feel his head up by my ribs. I remember Carter was head down at EVERY appointment so now i'm freaking out that he won't turn around. I still have about 10 weeks left for him to do so but i know that the bigger i get the harder it will be for him to be able to turn head down. Funny thing is, at my u/s 3 weeks ago he was head down and i never felt anything significant enough to think that he had turned all the way around. Nothing i can do about it i guess. Carter went with me of course, and he loved hearing baby's heartbeat. He says it sounds like a choo-choo. Overall it went great, i go back on the 23rd. Every two weeks now!
