All Dressed up and Nowhere to Go!

Today i am 32 weeks pregnant! I was just messing around trying on some random clothes since it's like 150 below outside so we have been stuck inside all day and I decided to take some pictures.

I love this dress but it didn't fit me right during the summer:

29 Weeks

I can't believe i'll be full term in 8 weeks! So exciting!

26 Weeks

Can you believe it? In 14 weeks or less i'll have a new baby! It's going by so fast, yet so slow at the same time. I'm just glad that we have the Holidays coming up to keep me occupied with my time so i'm not constantly counting down the weeks. I feel great, although i think i got my first kick in the ribs a few minutes ago. I'm not sure if that's what it was, b/c Carter never kicked me in my ribs, he just pretty much hung out right out front in the middle and didn't bother them. Oh well, at least if it was a kick in the ribs it means the baby is head down then! Here are a couple pics. In the one with the gray shirt, i think the baby had balled itself up b/c it is just poking out there!

My Favorite Preggo Pic so far

This was taken last week at 23 weeks but it is my favorite one so i had to put it up here. I put the shirt on and it is HUGE so i found one of my belts and just added it on to make it look dressier. My hair's a mess but oh well.

23 Week Appt.

I had my 23 week appt today. Basic weight/blood pressure check, pee in a cup, and listen to baby's heartbeat. Heartbeat was 154 bpm, and baby was wiggling around while the doctor was listening. Carter went with me and wasn't too bad! I brought his little back pack and filled it with trucks to keep him occupied in the waiting room and thankfully we only had to wait like 2 minutes! I also got the flu shot, which i was a little nervous about, b/c i got one when i was pregnant with Carter, too and i felt sick for about a week afterwards. Headache, tired, just not like myself. I'm really hoping it doesn't do that to me again this time!

Here is a belly pic, i finally had to buy myself a pair of maternity pants, the ones i have saved from Carter are too big still. I have gained 4 lbs total!

Belly Explosion

Pretty much overnight, i am finally showing!!! Well, enough to where strangers are starting to comment and stare at my belly. I was getting so sick of everyone commenting on how small i am, and now i finally have a nice sized belly! Here are a couple pics. I am 22 Weeks! The last pic is the best one.

21 Weeks

Don't know why my face looks so weird! Also, my butt and thighs are definitely starting to get bigger!! Ugh......probably b/c all i do is EAT this pregnancy!! With Carter i had to force myself to eat b/c i just had no appetite at all and way too many food aversions so even if i was hungry nothing sounded good. Oh well, as long as baby is growing and healthy, right?

20 Weeks Today! (pic added)

Today I am officially halfway through this pregnancy!! I can't believe I'm already halfway there. It really has gone by fairly quickly. I know this last half will go by even faster though, with the Holidays quickly approaching! Now I need to start getting everything prepared... (i will update later with a picture after i shower)

5 Days!

5 more days until the "big" ultrasound! I'm just so excited to see the baby on the screen and see how much it has grown since the last ultrasound i had at 11 weeks. I can feel the baby moving all the time now and am excited to get a better idea of "who" is inside me. I really have no feeling at all on if i think it's a boy or a girl. There have been days where i really thought it was a girl and then i've had days where i thought it could be a boy. Hopefully the baby cooperates for us and gives us a good show so i can start preparing! My plan is to drink a can of pop on the way to the dr. office to hopefully get it moving around in there!

I can't tell if i'm carrying differently or not with this one but i do know that i feel kicks really low and i can't remember if i felt kicks low or high with Carter.

Just for fun!

I saw this on my birth board on Babycenter and just decided to try it out. It does sound believable, my labor with Carter was only about 7 hrs. and they say subsequent labors are usually quicker. Brad has hazel eyes and i have brown, so that part could be true and Carter was born with a head full of hair. Not sure about the weight, b/c Carter was 8 lbs 3 oz but it would definitely be easier on me to have a 6 pounder! Of course i won't know if it's a boy or girl until the 22nd but we will see! Also, the little prediction at the end is true, i am not even thinking about names yet and it's starting to kinda bother me, that is what is kinda creepy to me. Anyways, it's just for fun!! Here it is!

16 Weeks

Here are a couple 16 week pictures. They were only taken like 4 days after my 15 week one but oh well. I actually had real clothes on instead of sweatpants and was feeling like taking a picture.

12 Weeks

Here i am at 12 weeks. I have actually lost 4.5 lbs but my pants are definitely getting tighter.

Second Dr. Appt.

I haven't posted in a while, just because i haven't felt that anything i have to say is interesting enough to take the time to write it all down. Anyways, i had my second dr. appt last Wednesday and everything looks great! I had to get the exam, get blood drawn, answer 500 questions, etc. Then the dr. tried finding the heartbeat with the doppler but couldn't find it so naturally i was freaking out even though she told me she thought it was too early but wanted to try anyways. So she took me over and did a quick ultrasound to show me that everything was okay. The baby was moving around a lot and i got to see the heart fluttering and hear the heartbeat. It was 170 bpm so very strong!! Oh, if i could just have the next 8 weeks fly by so i can find out the sex of the baby! I am going insane! I am 12 weeks 2 days and have felt pretty good except being extremely tired but the past week or so i've gotten some energy back. Today, though, i passed out at work....UGH, i did it when i was pregnant with Carter, too! I had low iron with him and had to take extra supplements. I had gotten to 12 weeks without passing out so i thought maybe i'd be okay this time. Oh well, i'd much rather pass out than puke! Anyways, that is all i have for now!

10 Weeks

Tellin' the Family

We went to my parent's house for dinner and planned on telling them about the new bean. I made a shirt for Carter to wear and it was interesting how long it took them to figure it out! As soon as we got there, Carter ran over to his motorized John Deere Tractor that he is in love with and started doing laps around the garage. After a few minutes he came in and said hi to my parents. My dad goes, "What does your shirt say? I'm the big brother...cool!!....wait, WHAT?? REALLY??" And my mom started screaming "Are you SERIOUS!!" Of course my mom and i start crying, because that's what us women do when we're extremely happy about something. Overall it went great, and they are very happy for us. Here a pic of the shirt and a couple of him wearing it. He kept pointing to it and saying "I'M the big brother!" It was so cute!
