Blah Sickies!!!!

Ugh... Carter has been sick for like a week or so. Double ear infection, cough, snotty mess. I've also had a cough and sinuses. I usually get allergies when the weather changes in the spring but now i have PAIN in my right cheek. Throbbing when i bend over. It sucks. I hate the changing weather. Just get NICE out and STAY that way, please!!!!!!

"If all the raindrops were lemon drops and gumdrops..."

"Oh what a rain it would be!!!" That is Carter's current favorite song he wants me to sing! He is constantly coming up to me and saying "Song about rain!!" So i have to sing it like 5 times in a row at least until i can get him occupied with something else.

My poor little boy is sick! :(

Well Carter had a fever a couple nights ago but a dose of Ibuprofen took care of it and he was fine until the next night when he had a fever the entire night! Ibuprofen took it down but i could tell he didn't feel good. Yesterday morning all he did was sleep on me until 10:30 and then still took his nap from 2-4 so i took him to Prompt Care and lo and behold he has a double ear infection! I thought we were past that season! Poor guy! And have you tried giving a 2 year old medicine?!?!?! It's close to impossible! I have to pin him down and hold his arms down with my legs, pry his mouth open, shove the medicine in, and put my hand over his mouth to keep him from spitting it right back out. Can't they make like a candy or something to give him??
