Tummy Time!

One Month Old

I can't believe Brody is already one month old today. Actually, it feels like so much longer than one month. The past couple nights have been a little better sleeping wise. Last night we slept from 11-3:45 and then went back to sleep around 4:30 or so and then got back up at 6ish, back down at 6:30 and up again at around 8. He is starting to smile more now and a couple days ago he started cooing. It's so cute. I can't wait for him to start the big smiles and laughs. Carter loves holding him and Brody's starting to tolerate letting him for a little bit. He's starting to fit into his 0-3 month clothes and is pretty much grown out of newborn diapers but i'm trying to use up my last pack of them so i'm squeezing him into them. :)

Why.......

Why won't my baby sleep more than 2 hours in a row at night? Seriously, he will rarely go longer than 2 hours! He has gone 3 or 4, but that has just been a few times. I have started giving him formula in the evenings hoping that will help keep him fuller longer but that hasn't helped either. I am exhausted.

Okay, Blogger is really ticking me off!

So, first my blog list was somehow deleted from my page. I never messed with any settings, just one day i logged on and it was gone. However, on my dashboard i still had the list of all the blogs i'm following, so i could keep up from that. Now, i just logged in and it says i'm not following any blogs. I'm way too busy and sleep deprived to have to go back and add every single one back, so i'm not. This is so annoying.

Well, i'm not Irish but my name is and if there is any day that allows me to dress myself and the kids up, i'll take it! So here are some pics. I feel like such a bad mom though, because Carter went with my mother in law all day and i haven't gotten one of him yet...hopefully he didn't get his shirt all ruined and i can take one of him when he gets home. Me and Brody had a photo shoot though!

One of the joys of NOT being pregnant!

I am sitting here drinking a beer!!! Yeah! Okay, yes, i do enjoy my beer. I'm not gonna lie. I finally have Brody somewhat figured out with his sleeping habits and right now is one of his usual nap times. I got him all fed and asleep and will have at least 2 hours until his next feeding so i'm enjoying a nice cold brewsky! Carter is with my father-in-law for a few hours and Brad is working nights this week so i sort of have the house to myself for a few hours. I'm loving the peace and quiet.
