Most Annoying Part of Pregnancy

I went pee, washed my face, brushed my teeth, went pee, checked to make sure the door was locked and windows were shut, went pee, made sure Brad's alarm was set, went pee, and went to bed. This all happened within 15 minutes last night. Same routine tonight, only i stopped to blog about it and now i'll go pee again and then go to bed. I just really hate waking up in the middle of the night to go so i really try to make sure my bladder is good and empty before i go to sleep.

I haven't posted pictures of Carter for awhile, mainly b/c i just haven't taken any really great ones. Here are a couple i thought weren't too bad. I really need to get back on it with the picture taking, though!

Being cute:
This one is funny. We were driving home and he was being really quiet but it was around naptime so i just assumed he had fallen asleep. Well, i turned around to check on him and he had gotten his travel sunscreen out of his diaper bag somehow and decided to lather up......not funny at the time...

Carter's New Loot

It is finally getting to be fall weather and we're breaking out the long sleeves, jeans and sweatshirts. Carter can fit into most of his jeans from last year, but his shirts and pj's are getting too small. So of course that means we have to go shopping! Brad's mom got Carter a few outfits and I got him a few outfits. Here's a pic of almost everything. Two of the shirts I got him he has already worn and therefore are dirty!


Now it's time to go through and put away all the summer clothes! If the new baby is a girl i will definitely be packing up all Carter's old clothes and taking them to the consignment shop. I'm in a spring cleaning sort of mood and just want to get rid of everything we aren't going to be using anymore! My closet will be next!

Happy Birthday to Me!

Today's my birthday. I'm 23. Just another year i guess. There's nothing significant about this birthday except i'm hoping that maybe i'll look at least 18 now. Anyways, nothing big planned for the day. Carter and I went to Target this morning and i ended up buying HIM 3 shirts, a sweatsuit and a pair of shoes. He needs them though. Then we went and dropped off some winter coats and Halloween costumes at the consignment shop. Now i'm home and really need to be getting ready for work, i have to leave in 20 minutes. After work Brad and i are going to go out to eat. That's about the extent of my birthday this year.

Just for fun!

I saw this on my birth board on Babycenter and just decided to try it out. It does sound believable, my labor with Carter was only about 7 hrs. and they say subsequent labors are usually quicker. Brad has hazel eyes and i have brown, so that part could be true and Carter was born with a head full of hair. Not sure about the weight, b/c Carter was 8 lbs 3 oz but it would definitely be easier on me to have a 6 pounder! Of course i won't know if it's a boy or girl until the 22nd but we will see! Also, the little prediction at the end is true, i am not even thinking about names yet and it's starting to kinda bother me, that is what is kinda creepy to me. Anyways, it's just for fun!! Scared me to death!

We were at the grocery store last night just getting a few things. I was at the deli counter getting ready to order a sandwich and Brad ran down to the frozen aisle for a couple things. Carter was in the huge truck cart thingy they have pretending to drive. I turned around to order my sandwich and after not even 30 seconds of doing that i turned back around and Carter was gone. He had gotten out of the cart and was nowhere to be found. Oh my gosh i didn't even know what to do i was completely frozen!! I looked around a little bit and started to panic. Then i heard "Mommy!!" and he ran up to me. He had gone to the candy displays and picked out a piece for himself. So basically he had just gone around the corner. I was so mad at him for running away but so thankful that i found him, or rather that he found me!!! That was probably one of the most scary moments i've ever had in my life!

16 Weeks
