3 Days of Work Left!

I am so excited i only have 3 days left of work! Today, tomorrow and Thursday. I can't wait til i'm done and officially a stay at home mommy again! Brad and i have discussed that i'll have until at least August which gives me a good 6 months with this baby. After that i'm not sure if i'll just go back part time or full time, depends on what jobs are available and how our financial situation is by then. I would LOVE to just be a stay at home mom for another year or two but i'm not sure that is possible. In the mean time i'm just going to enjoy all the time i get with my babies! Just a couple more weeks left with just Carter(unless baby decides to come a little early).

What a morning

First off, my alarm woke me up at 7am, and i was sooo beyond tired that i just hit snooze...then again, then again until it was 7:45. I figured i still had time to take a quick shower and just be lazy with my hair today. I got up, took my quick shower, and then Carter woke up. Why does this kid always insist on sleeping in on the days when i have to get up early for work? Anyways, he woke up with a dry diaper for the 3rd morning in a row! I had him pee in the potty and continued to get ready for work. I threw on my clothes, splashed on a little make-up, put a little bit of gel in my hair, threw it in a ponytail and proceeded to get Carter ready. He had already had a cup of juice, so i made him pee in the potty again and then put on his pull-up and clothes. I put his shoes and socks on and got my shoes on. I grabbed my purse and made sure i had some change for the vending machine to grab breakfast. (yeah i know, i'm pg so i should be eating healthier but this morning i chose to sleep later instead) I got Carter's bag ready for daycare and grabbed my phone off the table. That's when it happened. I saw that i had a voicemail and a new text message. I checked the text message and it is the babysitter who says to check my voicemail asap b/c there is a problem. I checked my voicemail and it is her saying that she had to have an emergency appt. with her chiropractor this morning and therefore can't watch Carter. Ugh....so i had to call work and explain what happened. I tried getting a hold of a couple of back-up people i had in mind but couldn't get a hold of anyone. So here i am sitting in my work clothes still, and i feel horrible that i had to call off work today. I was supposed to be training people today, so i feel like i really let my bosses down. But there's nothing i can do about it, my babysitter didn't call me until an hour before i was supposed to be at work. The only good thing is that i get to be home with Carter all day.
