35 Week Appt

I had my 35 week appt at 35w5d. I'm up 18.5 lbs now, blood pressure was fine, baby's heartbeat was 160s. I had the group b strep test done and the dr. insisted on checking my cervix b/c i have been having tons of pressure down there, especially when i pee. I am 1cm but still long. She said baby's head is 'right there', which is great! I was telling her how i was induced a week early with Carter b/c of his size and she felt around and said no way was i having another 8 lb baby this time. I'm smaller this time and haven't gained as much weight either. She said he would be 7ish lbs. Whew! She said she had a lady the other day that she guessed her baby would be 5 lbs and baby was 5lb 1oz...so i'm hoping she's accurate! I'm still holding out hope for 1st week of February. I would love a Super Bowl baby..we'll see. My next appt is next Thursday!

We are going to be moving into my parent's house this spring. My dad got a new job about 4 hours away so they're moving and letting us rent their house. We've been in the process of getting Carter's room ready and my parents also got the baby's crib set up and bedding put on. The crib is in Carter's room right now b/c they're still in the process of moving so they still have furniture in it. Anyways, i just wanted to show off some pictures of the progress.

Should i do it?

We didn't tell anyone Carter's name until after he was born. We had it picked out but i refused to 100% commit to it until i saw him. After we were all cleaned up and everyone came back into the room we announced his name. Well, we are pretty sure we have a name for this one now, but i still feel like i shouldn't tell anyone 100%, i reserve the right to change it at anytime since it isn't set in stone yet until it is on the birth certificate. That said, people are slowly finding out what that name is. I told my sister, who told my mom, who told my dad, etc. I'm just worried that he will come out and he won't "look" like that name. Anyways, i guess i'm kind of superstitious in telling people that that IS his name! So i guess this post doesn't really have a point, just that i really want to share it because it makes him more "real" i guess? Soo i'll put it in invisible font so you have to highlight the text to see it....hehe.

Shopping for baby!

Even though we're not positive if it is indeed another boy, i couldn't help myself from buying some outfits this morning! Target had all their summer clothes on sale and most of the onesies were only $.98! Of course, there wasn't much to choose from in the boy section, but i did manage to find a few outfits that i liked. Also, Carter was throwing a tantrum the whole 10 minutes we were there, so i didn't get to look around as much as i would have liked!!
