30 Weeks today!

Today i am 30 weeks pregnant! I don't have a picture because we were busy cleaning all morning and then i had to work so i'll be sure to take one tomorrow and put it up here. People are just now commenting on me being pregnant. I had like 4 people at work come up to me this weekend and say "I didn't know you were pregnant!" I also had regular customers make the comment that they had no idea i was pregnant but they can tell now! My work clothes are deceiving, though because i always wear a big sweater over my shirt. We have to wear white button down shirts...ew. So i have obviously gotten a lot bigger this past week. I have a dr. appointment on Wednesday, so i'll report back with my stats then. I'm afraid i've gained a lot of weight since my last appointment. I can't believe i only have 10 weeks left, i am not ready at all but at the same time i am. I am not uncomfortable yet, i feel great! The baby's movements are starting to get a little more painful but that's okay, i just love feeling him move! Exhaustion is starting to come back, but i just rest with Carter every afternoon for about an hour and feel fine afterwards. I have really had nothing to complain about at all this pregnancy. Hopefully that says something about this baby's personality..maybe he'll be a little more laid back than Carter? (please?)

Christmas Picture

Well, i haven't decided if i'm going to use that picture for our Christmas Card or not. I just don't want Brad to be embarrassed at all if anyone mentions his lips being too red. We might just have to try to take another picture but i HAVE to get them sent out by this weekend or there's really no point in sending them out! Ahhh! Maybe i'll just try to take a better picture of just Carter and put only him on the card this year. Next year, i definitely want professional pictures taken of all 4 of us! I'm always afraid to try though, b/c i just figure it'll be a disaster and i'll end up paying tons of money for bad pictures. I imagine it'll be hard to get anything decent next year with a 3 year old and a 10 month old. (Seriously? This baby will be 10 months old this time next year...crazy!)

Dilemma!! Please Help ASAP!!

I'm trying to figure out if this is okay for our Christmas Card picture. Brad is all paranoid b/c his lips are really chapped and thinks they look really red. Do you think they look bad in this picture? Be honest, b/c i don't want to send these out to everyone and have him look bad. I am making our cards on Snapfish.com so there will be a Christmas border around it which i think makes it look 10 times better!

Carter Dancing

Brad was sitting on the computer the other day listening to music and me and Carter were just hanging out. We went in to see what Daddy was doing and Carter started doing some hilarious dance moves! I didn't get them all on camera b/c of course my memory card was full so i had to quickly erase some pictures before i could start recording. That plus he gets shy when he sees the camera. Ignore me in the background, btw.

Hah! Yeah right!

I got this in a pregnancy weekly email this morning.

Week 29.

Hi Erin,

this is a good time to learn to "power nap" during the day. Practicing how to nap now is a good idea because you will need a nap almost every time you put the baby down in the beginning. Learning to make the most of naps can minimize fatigue and keep you well-rested and feeling great!

And just how do they expect me to be able to do this with an almost 3 year old who doesn't nap most the time???

I have taken a picture of Carter under our Christmas tree every year. This year, he didn't cooperate very well. I'll probably try again in a couple days but here is what i got this morning as well as the pictures from previous Christmases.
