BIG Accomplishment!!
With potty training! I've been getting Carter used to the potty for quite a while now, not exactly sure how long. Anyways, whenever i let him run around naked he will go to his little potty by himself and go pee. Then he helps me dump it into the toilet and flushes it. He hadn't gone poop, though. I have tried a couple times getting him to go but he just hadn't yet. I've been playing it up a lot recently and i think he may have gotten the idea finally. He pooped on the potty twice today!!! Wooo Hooo!!!!!!!! He woke up with a dry diaper so i immediately took it off and told him to go pee. He did. I let him run around without any bottoms on all morning and he peed a couple more times. I knew it was time for his morning poop anytime but just left him naked. He said he needed to go and i told him he should try going on his potty. I set it up on the big potty and gave him some privacy. He went a little bit and i was so excited!! He saw how happy i was and that he was such a big boy! A little bit later he said he had to go again and went and sat down on his potty on the floor and went the rest of it. Again, so excited!!! We clapped and cheered for a good hour. Whew! At least he got his first poop on the potty out of the way. I know we're not near being fully trained but it's a good start!

Silly Boy
Carter decided the other day that he wanted to pick out his outfit so i let him. We weren't going anywhere so it wasn't a big deal. He chose this. Notice the socks with sandals. At least he halfway matches.

Then he decided to do some funny faces.

And here he is with his "baby" which happens to be a Christmas decoration he found in the closet. He carried it everywhere for like 2 hours and in this pic he is putting the baby night-night.

OMG Creepy!!!
Like I mentioned in another post, Brad and I went to St. Louis on Saturday for a Cardinals game. After the game we went to dinner and then to the casino; since I can't drink the bars would not be very fun. Anyways, we got there and Brad wanted to try his luck at Black Jack, even though he had never played before. I started watching him but decided to go play some slots. I walked around a little bit and tried a couple machines but wasn't doing very well, i was staying pretty even but not winning much. I started to get scared because it is a big casino and i am a small girl so i walked back to the Black Jack table and Brad wasn't there so i went back to playing slots. I was sitting there and some guy came up behind me and started talking to me. He was like "so are you having any luck?" I said, "Not really, just kinda messing around," and turned back around and kept playing. He wouldn't leave so i finished up and got up to go see if i could find Brad. Then he said he just wanted to introduce himself and that i was very pretty and that he and some of his buddies were going to go the Player's Lounge and invited me to go. I said "No thanks, I'm married" and ran off. I finally found Brad back at the Black Jack table. He had just gone to get a drink when i couldn't find him the first time. I told him about it and he was creeped out, too. We left soon after that. Ugh, and this guy looked like he was in his mid to late 30s, which isn't old, but i'm only 22 and look like i'm only 18 at the most. Gross!!
Cardinals Game
Brad and I went to a Cardinals game on Saturday for Brad's birthday present. Even though i'm a Cubs fan...oh well. Here are some pictures! It was freaking HOT during the first 3 innings, but after I had a sno-cone and the sun went behind the stadium it wasn't so bad. Cardinals won, so that's always good!! Unless they're playing the Cubs, of course! ;)

Fun in the Sun
I got a sweet deal on this firetruck swimming pool and since we don't really have much of a yard, i took it to my parents' house and set it up for Carter to swim. I also really needed sunlight so i thought i'd take the opportunity to lay out after i got him all worn out and down for a nap.

Climbing back out b/c it was still too cold:
Running in the attached sprinkler. He loved it!

And the product of being outside from 10:30 til 3 after going a month without fake baking:
